On June 20th, 2017 I had gastric bypass surgery.

On June 4th, 2017 I began the all-liquid pre-surgery diet required by my surgeon at 287.7 pounds.

The morning of my surgery I weighed 270.1 pounds.

I spent 3 nights in the hospital, and took 5 days off of work.  I’m lucky to work an IT job out of my house and was able to return to work one week after surgery.

My surgeon’s weight goal for me is 168, so here we go!
