Happy 200!

This is my 200th post!  Who knew at the beginning of June 2012 that I would get to 100 posts, much less 200?  I’ve really enjoyed writing this blog, and I’m grateful for all who’ve read it and commented along the way.

Today is day 4…..sugar headache gone and cravings subsided.  Looking forward to fitting in my clothes!  Yay!

What do I weigh?

I honestly do not know.

I know what I weighed a couple of weeks ago, and that’s the last time I stepped on the scale.  I’m not sure when I’m going to step on the scale next, but it won’t be for a while.  I know when I’m in ketosis and losing weight, and when I’m not.  I will know how my clothes feel.  So until I’m under 200 again, I really don’t care what the exact number is, as long as I’m losing, feeling better, looking better, and clothes are fitting better.

Yay!

Sugar headache

People it’s day 3 of back to Ideal Protein principles.  Now that my life (stress) has calmed down a bit I really want to get the weight off that I put on, and then some.

It wouldn’t be my blog if I didn’t share my plan of attack…so without further ado….

I’m on a homemade “IP like” program.  What does this mean?  It means under 50 carbs a day, along with the principles of IP that include at least 8 cups of water per day, a good amount of supplements, avoiding fake sugar, and plenty of green vegetables.

I have the usual Day 3 sugar withdrawal headache.  The one that aspirin does NOT really help, but I take the aspirin just to pretend like I’m doing something to make it better.  LOL.  Tomorrow should be better.

I’m going to drop some weight, fit into more of my clothes, all in preparation for my next trip coming up on August 31st!!!!!  Then I will splurge some on my vacay, then I may switch over to a more moderate weight loss plan. Basically I just want to drop some weight quickly to fit into more of my clothes and prepare for my vacay….then figure out the rest after.

Today I am actually going out for lunch and dinner.  Sushi for lunch (nothing fried)…..8 pieces of California roll, 2 pieces of tuna roll, 2 pieces of salmon roll.  That’s it.

Pei Wei for dinner….have already planned for a salad with dressing on the side.

I guess I’m Asian today.  Who knew?

 

Day # whatever

So far so good with the logging calories/low-carbish meal plan for weight loss and eventual maintenance.  

I also got up early this morning to walk in my neighborhood before work.

At most I’m going to check my weight once a week, but I actually might wait longer.  Doing a weight loss plan like this I’m definitely not going to see a lower number daily, and don’t want to defeat myself.  I feel better eating better, and that’s the ultimate point.  Right?
