First off, this morning I weighed in at a new low of 193.1.
Second, tonight I do couch to 5k, week 6, day 2. This time it’s serious. 5 minute warm-up, 20 minute run, 5 minute cool-down. Lord Jesus, there’s a fire…..
Third, I’ve made another decision, which I reserve the right to change my mind, but I’ve decided that no matter what I weigh, I will end phase 1 of Ideal Protein by my one year anniversary on 5/30/2013. If I reach my goal of 160 pounds before 5/30, then I will phase off at that time….but what I’m saying is, no matter what I weigh, I will phase off of phase 1 no later than 5/30/2013. If I weigh 162, If I weigh 184.6, whatever. I will not go another summer without fruit and corn on the cob. However, I commit to myself not to “cheat” (eat off plan) between now and then (which will not be difficult, because the last time I “cheated” was 2/22, and not since then….and I went the first 8 months “cheat free”.

Katie – just follow the program and listen to your coach. The first week is the hardest. You can do it!
